How to Order Embroidery Send us your Logo and/or text choices for evaluation. Choose Embroidery Text Fonts. Choose Thread Colors. Choose your Embroidery Product. We will prepare your embroidery design and send you a proof along with a quote. After approval of the proof and quote, we will process your order and ship typically within 5 business days.	Embroidery Guidelines For a typical left chest embroidery, the ideal design has a maximum dimension of 3.5in. - 4.0in. There are exceptions when a design has one dimension that is several times larger than the other. The size of many designs is dictated by the smallest text in the design. We will size your design appropriately based on our experience. The smallest text we can embroider with any accuracy is about 0.20in. (5mm) high. We can make adjustments to your design to compensate for slight variations. Typically, a single line of text can only include about 20 characters and spaces before it requires the text to be split into two lines.

Digitizing To produce a custom design, a "digitizer" must produce a series of instructions for the computer controlled embroidery equipment to follow. A good design is the foundation of a well-done embroidery. Specialized software allows the digitizer to create the design by viewing the artwork and tell the software how to convert the image into stitches. This process requires an understanding of the different types of stitches and fabrics and how they work together as a medium and rendering. Although digitizing software has become more sophisticated, allowing less skilled digitizers to produce designs, better designs are produced by experienced digitizers.
